Gaja grew up in the suburbs of Kranj, where her love for animals was born at an early age. Since she wasn’t allowed to have a dog at home, she devoted all her attention to her neighbor’s dog. Together with a friend, they “adopted” him, cared for him, took him on walks, and spent all their free time with him. This childhood enthusiasm eventually grew into a professional path as a veterinary technician, where Gaja continues to develop her knowledge and dedication to working with animals every day.

Freya, a purebred Rottweiler, is not particularly fond of being photographed. She much prefers running across meadows and playing with her canine and human friends rather than posing for the camera.
